SSC JE 2024 Notification Summary
Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has officially started the recruitment drive for Junior Engineer (JE) posts for the year 2024. The initiative aims to fill 968 vacancies in various departments of the central government and the number is expected to increase further. These roles cover a wide range of engineering disciplines, including civil engineering, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering and automotive engineering. Successful candidates placed in 7th Salary Matrix Level 06 will be offered a salary of ₹35,400 to ₹1,12,400. Eligibility has been extended to those with a degree or diploma in the relevant engineering field and the age limit has been fixed at 32 years for certain posts and 30 years for other posts, subject to Government of India regulations.
